Ingredients
- 3/4 cup aunt jemima pancake mix
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 large tart apples
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
How To Make baked apple pecan pancakes

Step 1Pare and thinly slice the apples. Preheat oven to 450° F.

Step 2Combine pancake mix, milk, eggs and the teaspoon of sugar. Mix well

Step 3Place melted butter and apples in a 9 or 10 inch cast iron skillet and cook over medium heat until tender. Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped nuts.

Step 4Pour batter evenly over nuts and apples.

Step 5Combine the 1/3 cup of sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle over batter. Bake at 450°F for 10 to 12 minutes or until pancake is puffed and sugar is melted. Loosen sides of pancake, cool slightly and cut into wedges.
