Ingredients
- 8 cups apple cider
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- Couple dash cinnamon
- Couple dash fresh ground nutmeg
How To Make apple cider syrup
-
Step 1Bring cider to a good rolling boil, remove from heat and add brown sugar, return to a medium boil and stir till reduced by half, turn off heat
-
Step 2Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg, fresh ground is always best but you can use bottled. Either use or can be put into jars hot and sealed. Heat before serving. Will last till you need it!!! Enjoy
-
Step 3Tip: do not add your cinnamon and nutmeg till the end, they will retain more flavor.
