yummy no bake granola bars
These are so good. I have made them 3 times in one week and my kids keep gobbling them up.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups rice crispies cereal
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup raisins or dried cranberries
- 1/4-1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey or corn syrup (i used the honey)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips of choice or sub half with xtra mini marshmallow
How To Make yummy no bake granola bars

Step 1Combine the cereal, oats & raisins

Step 2In saucepan, add the brown sugar & honey.

Step 3Bring to boil on med-high heat until bubbles form. Bubble for about 30 seconds.

Step 4Remove from heat & stir in peanut butter & vanilla

Step 5Pour over cereal mixture & combine

Step 6Stand a few minutes till just about room temperature & then stir in chocolate chips

Step 7Spoon mixture into baking pan (the size smaller than the 9x13). Put a piece of wax paper of pan. Using a heavy duty spatula, press down firmly all over the top. The key to keep these granola bars together is to press firmly.

Step 8Let stand for a few hours (if you can wait) Cut into bars.
