This is another really basic recipe that I got in the recipe book that is distributed by my church to those in need, along with basic staples, meat and produce. I especially like it as you have much better control over ingredients, it is soooo healthy, and is soooo inexpensive. Store bought cereals today lack almost all of those qualities. Hope you try this and like as much as we do.

Ingredients
- 2 cups coarsely ground whole wheat
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon salt
How To Make whole wheat flakes

Step 1Mix ingredients lightly with a spoon, until free from lumps; but avoid over-mixing.

Step 2Pour onto a cookie sheet, using 1/2 cup on a 12 x 15 inch sheet. Tip sheet back and forth to cover surface. Drain off excess, leaving a thin film.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes. Break into bite sized pieces.
