Another oldie but goodie from Gramma Bea's recipe box that she saved from the "Ish-Tak-Ha-Ba" Sleepy Eye cookbook.
I know this is going to be a difficult recipe to understand for all those frozen waffle fans. But after eating these you won't go back to frozen. Well worth the trouble.

How To Make
Mix and sift dry ingredients. Add egg yolks, milk and shortening. Beat thoroughly. Fold in stiffly beaten egg white last. Bake in a waffle iron.
