Spiced Apple Oatmeal

Lynnda Cloutier

When you cook the butter til the milk solids turn gold, it draws out the rich nutty flavor that adds a depth and richness to this cereal. You won't ever find cereal this delicious in a restaurant. You can add some dried fruit, such as cherries or currants, if you like.
