I made this recipe for my momma on Mother's Day last year! She is my best friend and my cooking mentor so I know she's gonna love this Southern brunch. These chocolate waffles are rich and moist and the sweet cream cheese glaze and crunchy pecan topping make them a decadent and delicious meal that any mother would love!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Who wouldn't love to be served this darling and decadent breakfast? They're a simple waffle with the classic chocolate red velvet flavor. Slightly crisp outside, inside the waffles are light and fluffy. Drizzling the warm waffles with a cream cheese glaze mimics the classic frosting. Pecans sprinkled on top add crunch and nuttiness. We're obsessed with the glaze, the vibrant color, the flavor, and... well... everything about this breakfast recipe.
