    butter, cold
  • 2 Tbsp
    shortening
  • 3/4 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 1/2 c
    dried cranberries
  • TOPPING

  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 5 Tbsp
    heavy cream

How to Make scones

Step-by-Step

  1. preheat oven to 375 In large bowl combine flour,baking powder,salt and sugar,cut in butter and shortening. In a separate bowl combine cream, sour cream and egg. Add to dry ingredients,stir in fruit
  2. turn dough out onto a floured surface.roll dough out about 1/2 inch thick cut into biscuit size rounds.bake for 15 mins let cool
  3. mix heavy cream and powdered sugar pour glaze over cooled scones
