My two loves mixed together for breakfast....sausage and pancakes. At last there is a recipe where they join together. Thanks to Steph I now have the perfect pancake.

Ingredients

  • 1, 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 3, 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1, 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 - egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 pound sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • - cooking spray
  • - butter
  • - syrup

How To Make sausage pancakes joined as one

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, vanilla, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
  • Step 2
    Spray griddle or frying pan with cooking spray and heat over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Sprinkle approximately 1-2 Tbsp sausage on top of pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot with butter and syrup.
  • Step 3
    Serves 4; If you want to make larger pancakes and for more people double the recipe. Yum...
