  • CAKE INGREDIENTS
  • 1 c
    margarine (not butter)
  • 1-1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 c
    orange juice-ready made
  • 4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • CRUMB TOPPING
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 c
    margarine, softened
  • 1 c
    pecans or your favorite nut (optional)
  • GLAZE
  • 1 c
    confectioners' sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla (or almond if you use almonds)extract

How To Make quick coffee cake

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 375. Prepare 13X9 pan (grease & flour or non-stick spray, or parchment on bottom & spray sides).

    Combine all cake ingredients in large bowl, blend well, pour into prepared pan.
  • 3
    Combine topping ingredients in small bowl and crumble over batter mixture.
  • 4
    Bake at 375 for 35 minutes. Cool. Combine Glaze ingredients in small bowl and drizzle over cooled coffee cake.
