Quick Brown Rice Porridge

1 cbrown rice, cooked
1 cskimmed milk
1-2 tspsweetener: sugar, stevia, agave syrup, honey . . .
1-2 Tbspgolden raisins
1-2 Tbspalmonds, slivered
1/4 tsppumpkin pie spices
·pinch cardamom (optional but really good)
How to Make Quick Brown Rice Porridge
- In a small sauce pan, add rice, milk, pumpkin pie spice, cardamom, raisins, and almonds.
- Heat until boiling, turn heat to low, and cook for a couple of minutes until mixture starts to thicken.
- Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Serve porridge while warm.
- Note: Double or triple as you wish.
