Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter, natural
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 3 cups old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries

How To Make peanut butter oatmeal bars

  • Step 1
    In a large mixing bowl combine peanut butter and honey.
  • Step 2
    Heat in the microwave for one minute, stirring every 20 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  • Step 3
    Add the oats to peanut butter 1 cup at a time. Fold oats until well-coated.
  • Step 4
    Add the dried cherries.
  • Step 5
    Line a 8" square baking pan with parchment paper.
  • Step 6
    Transfer the oat mixture into the baking pan.
  • Step 7
    Press the oats evenly in the baking pan. Cover with parchment paper and press with hands to flatten.
  • Step 8
    Place it in the refrigerator and allow it to cool completely for two hours or overnight.
  • Step 9
    When cooled remove from baking pan and cut it into bite-size pieces.
  • Step 10
