Bars are great for breakfast, lunch or snack. Adapted from a peanut butter oatmeal bar recipe to include jelly. After all, peanut butter is so much yummier with jelly.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup jelly of choice

How To Make peanut butter and jelly oatmeal bars

  • Step 1
    Line a 6" x 4" pan with parchment paper.
  • Step 2
    Mix together the peanut butter, honey and oats. The mixture will be sticky.
  • Step 3
    Place half of the peanut butter mixture in the pan. Press into an even layer.
  • Step 4
    Spread the jelly on top of the flattened peanut butter layer.
  • Step 5
    Top with the remaining peanut butter mixture and spread to cover the jelly.
  • Step 6
    Freeze for 15 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Remove from the freezer and use the parchment to lift out of the pan.
  • Step 8
    Cut into nine bars. Store in the refrigerator.
