My husband loves this. It reminds us of Hawaii. We think the best syrup to use is homemade coconut or pineapple.

large eggs
14 oz. can coconut milk
2/3 cup
pineapple preserves
1 tsp.
vanilla extract
4 cups
cornflakes, crushed
1 cup
finely chopped macadamia nuts
1 cup
angel flake coconut
slices fairly dry bread
butter for frying

How to Make Paradise French Toast


  • 1Mix corn flake crumbs, coconut, and chopped nuts in a pie pan.
  • 2Mix eggs, coconut milk, preserves, and vanilla in a bowl large enough for dipping the bread.
  • 3Dip bread in egg mixture, then in coconut mixture. Fry in the butter on each side until golden brown. Serve with your favorite syrup.
