My husband loves this. It reminds us of Hawaii. We think the best syrup to use is homemade coconut or pineapple.

Ingredients

  • 4 - large eggs
  • 1 - 14 oz. can coconut milk
  • 2/3 cup - pineapple preserves
  • 1 tsp. - vanilla extract
  • 4 cups - cornflakes, crushed
  • 1 cup - finely chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 cup - angel flake coconut
  • 8 - slices fairly dry bread
  • - butter for frying

How To Make paradise french toast

  • Step 1
    Mix corn flake crumbs, coconut, and chopped nuts in a pie pan.
  • Step 2
    Mix eggs, coconut milk, preserves, and vanilla in a bowl large enough for dipping the bread.
  • Step 3
    Dip bread in egg mixture, then in coconut mixture. Fry in the butter on each side until golden brown. Serve with your favorite syrup.
