My mother inlaw makes this for my kids and they love it. It's nice to have on a chilly morning for breakfast to warm your tummy, or maybe as a little snack before bed.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
milk
8 Tbsp
flour
2 Tbsp
sugar
1/8 tsp
salt
cinnamon

How to Make Papas (Portuguese Porridge)

Step-by-Step

  • 1-Mix milk, sugar, and salt into a sauce pan.

    -Bring to a boil.

    -SLOWLY sift flour in while continuously whisking vigorously to avoid clumping.

    -Mixture will thicken. Turn off heat and remove from stove top once the porridge is thick and creamy.

    Sprinkle generously with cinnamon. Serve while warm. Enjoy!
