This was my mother-in-law-to-be's pancake recipe. I have never had better pancakes in my life!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 - whole egg, beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

How To Make pancake perfection

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients until combined.
  • Step 2
    Pour 1/4 cup of batter into hot, buttered skillet. When bubbles stop popping (and create holes), flip.
  • Step 3
    When underside is lightly browned, remove. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until batter is gone.
  • Step 4
    Serve hot with butter and/or your favorite syrup or fruits.
