Ingredients
- 8 - eggs
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange liqueur, optional
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 - loaf italian bread cut into 1/2" slices
- 3 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons butter
How To Make orange french toast

Step 1Beat together eggs, orange juice, orange liqueur, 2 tablespoons confectioners sugar and vanilla.

Step 2Place bread slices in one layer in a large roasting or baking pan. Pour the egg mixture over bread layer.

Step 3Turn to soak. Cover with cling-wrap. Place in refrigerator for at least two hours, turning bread slices occasionally.

Step 4On a plate, combine confectioners sugar and brown sugar.

Step 5Preheat electric skillet to 375.

Step 6Melt butter and set aside. Remove bread slices from the egg mixture and place in skillet. Cook slices for 3-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.

Step 7Add more butter to skillet, if necessary.

Step 8Toss slices in sugar mixture and serve immediately.
