We are just to busy to work with yeast. The premade mix does not scream made from love so this simply batter is fast and easy and will have hot waffles at the table in minutes

Ingredients For only 1 belgian waffles

  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    milk
  • pinch
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable oil

How To Make only 1 belgian waffles

  • 1
    Beat egg with hand beater until fluffy; beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth. Grease a heated belgian waffle baker
  • 2
    pour batter into baker starting in the center until it is thinly covered. careful not to over fill.

    Cook waffles until puffed and dry around edges. Most bakers have a timer and the light will go off when the waffles are ready
  • 4
    Serve with butter, maple syrup, whipped cream, fresh strawberries, blueberries, sliced kiwi, peaches, etc.
