oatmeal with raspberries and bananas for two
My husband and I thoroughly enjoy this flavorful oatmeal for breakfast. Especially when topped with sliced bananas and fresh raspberries, fresh blueberries, or sliced strawberries. Sometimes I'll omit the fresh fruit altogether and just place a few chocolate chips or mini chocolate chips on top. Then I'll skip topping the oatmeal with the organic blue agave.

How To Make oatmeal with raspberries and bananas for two
-
1In a 1-quart microwave-safe bowl, add the water, quick-cooked rolled oats, and a pinch of salt.
-
2Place the bowl (uncovered) in the microwave. My microwave happens to be 1,000 watts.
-
3Cook uncovered for 2 minutes and 34 seconds. Then remove the bowl, and top the oatmeal with a bit of organic agave nectar, plus the fresh raspberries and a few sliced bananas, and serve.
-
4Note: Instead of the raspberries and sliced bananas, I'll top the already cooked oatmeal with a few fresh blueberries, or sliced strawberries, or perhaps chocolate chips. Personally, I prefer to use mini chocolate chips, while my husband prefers the regular-size chocolate chips.
