4 Tbspunsalted butter
1/3 cbrown sugar, packed
2 cquick cooking oats
1 cpuffed rice cereal (like rice crispies)
2 Tbsptoasted wheat germ
3-4 Tbspmini chocolate chips
How to Make No Bake Granola Bars
- Melt the butter, honey and brown sugar in a small pot over medium. When it starts to bubble, turn the heat to low and let cook for 2 minutes to dissolve the sugar completely. Remove from heat, and add the vanilla.
- Combine the rice cereal, oats and wheat germ in a bowl. Pour the butter/sugar mixture over the cereal/oat mixture. Stir to combine. Add in 2-3 Tbsp of the chocolate chips.
- Let cool, and cut into bars. Store in an airtight container or wrap individual bars. Enjoy!
