1Beat egg yolks well, add to buttermilk. Sift dry ingredients into mix. Mix well. Slowly add blend in melted butter.
2Cook on heated griddle. Mom used to throw a little water on the griddle to see if it was warm enough to start pouring pancake mix. The water will bubble when it hits the pan, then you know it's ready. Adjust the heat to how brown you want the outside. I like mine kind of light, so I usually put at medium-low.
3Turn the pancakes when they begin to bubble, watch bottom to desired color, i.e darker or lighter etc.
