Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 cups bran flakes
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 egg
How To Make molasses raisin & bran muffins

Step 1In a mixer bowl or with a hand mixer, cream together molasses, brown sugar, and butter.

Step 2Add all remaining ingredients and let ingredients sit for several minutes to soften the bran flakes. Mix well.

Step 3Spoon mixture into greased muffin tins or use muffin tin liners (I spray them too with vegetable or canola oil).

Step 4Bake muffins at 400 degrees F for 18-20 minutes -- watch carefully to prevent burning.
