- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 3/4 cup lukewarm water ( scalded then cooled)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 - egg
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine - softened
- 3 1/2 to - 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons margarine - softened
- FILLING:
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 to 3 teaspoons cinnamon
- ICING:
- 1 1/2 cups icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Step 1Dough Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix in next 5 ingredients and 2 cups flour. Stir. Mix in enough of the remaining flour until it forms a dough. Knead about 5 minutes on a floured surface. Place in greased bowl; turn grease side up. Cover: let rise in warm place until double about 1 1 /2 to 2 hours. Punch down dough and divide into 4 sections.

Step 2Roll out dough into rectangles; spread with margarine. Sprinkle filling over rectangle. Roll up; pinch edges to seal well. Cut roll into 1" slices. Place in greased baking dish, slightly apart. Let rise until double. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 325 F. Frost with icing while rolls are still warm.
