How To Make jewish coffee cake

Step 1Here’s the typed version of mom’s recipe: 1/2 lb Oleo (margarine / butter) 2 Cups sugar 6 eggs 1 pint sour cream 1 T vanilla. (I creamed all the above with a hand mixer). Then I added the following: 4 c. flour 1 1/2 t baking powder 1/2 t salt 1 tsp baking soda MIX together til well incorporated In separate bowl mix: 1/2 lb brown sugar (which is about 2 cups) 1 1/2 c. nuts 1 tbsp cinnamon Apart bundt pan well. Then start with adding some of the brown sugar and nut mixture in the pan. Then add half the cake mixture. Then add the other half of the brown sugar and nut mixture. Then final layer of cake mixture. In other words alternate layers. bake 350 - 1 hr 15 minutes. Make sure not to over bake.
