Growing up on the farm we grew a lot of what we ate. Lots of made from scratch also. I don't remember buying maple syrup. When I run out of store bought syrup now I always fall back on this one to save the day.

1/2 cbrown sugar

2 Tbspwhite corn syrup

2 cwater

1 tspvanilla

1 tspmapleine (imitation maple flavoring)
How To Make homemade maple syrup

1Using 1 quart sauce pan Add: sugar, br sugar, corn syrup, & water

2Stir and bring to full rolling boil for 1 minute

3Remove from heat & add vanilla & mapleine Stir Cool Enjoy

4This syrup is thinner then store bought so absorbs into pancakes quickly.
