Growing up on the farm we grew a lot of what we ate. Lots of made from scratch also. I don't remember buying maple syrup. When I run out of store bought syrup now I always fall back on this one to save the day.

Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons white corn syrup
- 2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon mapleine (imitation maple flavoring)
How To Make homemade maple syrup

Step 1Using 1 quart sauce pan Add: sugar, br sugar, corn syrup, & water

Step 2Stir and bring to full rolling boil for 1 minute

Step 3Remove from heat & add vanilla & mapleine Stir Cool Enjoy

Step 4This syrup is thinner then store bought so absorbs into pancakes quickly.
