Ingredients
- 1 2/3 cups oat bran hot cereal, uncooked
- 1 cup oats, quick or old-fashioned, uncooked
- 1/3 cup instant nonfat dry milk solids
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup hulled sunflower seeds
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup dried banana chips
- 1/2 cup raisins
How To Make healthy oat granola

Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Combine oat bran, oats, dried milk, honey, sunflower seeds, oil, water, orange peel and vanilla; mix well.

Step 3Spread in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

Step 4Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring once after 10 minutes.

Step 5Stir in banana chips and raisins.

Step 6Cool completely.

Step 7Store tightly covered up to 1 week.

Step 8Serve cold or hot with skim milk or as a topping over fruit, low fat yogurt or ice milk, if desired.
