Ingredients

1 2/3 c
oat bran hot cereal, uncooked
1 c
oats, quick or old-fashioned, uncooked
1/3 c
instant nonfat dry milk solids
1/4 c
honey
1/4 c
hulled sunflower seeds
2 Tbsp
vegetable oil
2 Tbsp
water
1 tsp
grated orange peel
1/2 tsp
vanilla
3/4 c
dried banana chips
1/2 c
raisins

Step-By-Step

1Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2Combine oat bran, oats, dried milk, honey, sunflower seeds, oil, water, orange peel and vanilla; mix well.
3Spread in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
4Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring once after 10 minutes.
5Stir in banana chips and raisins.
6Cool completely.
7Store tightly covered up to 1 week.
8Serve cold or hot with skim milk or as a topping over fruit, low fat yogurt or ice milk, if desired.
