Ingredients

  • 1 c
    oat meal
  • 1 c
    rice crispies
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 c
    sliced almonds
  • 1/2 c
    wheat germ (mixed with 1 tsp cinnamon)
  • 1/4 c
    shelled sunflower seeds
  • 3/4 c
    raisins (put in a baggie)

How to Make granola mix gift in a jar

Step-by-Step

  1. Layer in order in a 1 qt wide mouth mason jar, pressing each layer as they go in. Give these instructions on a tag
  2. Granola

    Remove bag of raisins and set aside.

    Empty rest of jar into a large bowl. Mix. To that add:
    2 tablespoons oil until well coated then add:
    1/3 cup honey, mix well.

    Spread into a 9x13 pan and bake at 250 for 40 minutes. Stir well after 20 minutes.

    Allow to cool.

    Stir in raisins.

    Store in air tight container.
