This is a perfect alternative to buying store bought granola bars. They are between chewy and crunchy. You can change up the dried fruit, nuts or replace with chocolate chips. I substitute 1/2 cup of the oats with old fashion oats.

Ingredients
- 2 cups oats, quick cooking
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup vegtable oil
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 - egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
How To Make granola bars iii

Step 1Line a 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper or nonstick foil and spray with cooking oil spray.

Step 2Stir together ingredients and press into prepared pan.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool slightly and cut into bars. Cool completely before removing to prevent them from falling apart. Enjoy.
