These are healthy and good tasting. I never purchase granola bars from the store any more because they are so easy to make, taste better and you get more for your money. I also like that I control the ingredients. I hope you enjoy these.

Ingredients
- 2 cups whole oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- 1/4 cup ground flax seed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4-1/2 cup honey
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- - optional chopped raisins or nuts
How To Make granola bars

Step 1Mix together oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, flax, cinnamon, flour, raisin or nuts & salt.

Step 2Combine all wet ingredients in small bowl then add to the dry mixture.

Step 3Pat with a greased spatula into a greased 8"x8" square pan.

Step 4Bake at 350' until edges turn golden.

Step 5Cool about 5 minutes then cut into squares.
