This is a very versatile granola recipe. Add whatever you like to make it your own. Very easy. Kids will love this.

old fashioned oatmeal (not quick cooking)
1 1/2 c
brown sugar
1 1/3 c
canola oil
1 c
1 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
1 1/2 c
almonds, slivered
1 c
dried cranberries

How to Make Granola


  • 1Pour one large container of Old fashioned oatmeal into a large bowl. Add 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar. Mix together well. I use my hands to mix it well.
  • 2Mix together oil, honey, salt, vanilla and add to oatmeal and brown sugar. Mix well. Add almonds and cranberries.
    Use whatever nuts and add ins you want.
  • 3Bake for 15 minutes at 250*.
