This is a very versatile granola recipe. Add whatever you like to make it your own. Very easy. Kids will love this.

Ingredients

  • 15 cups old fashioned oatmeal (not quick cooking)
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups canola oil
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups almonds, slivered
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

How To Make granola

  • Step 1
    Pour one large container of Old fashioned oatmeal into a large bowl. Add 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar. Mix together well. I use my hands to mix it well.
  • Step 2
    Mix together oil, honey, salt, vanilla and add to oatmeal and brown sugar. Mix well. Add almonds and cranberries. Use whatever nuts and add ins you want.
  • Step 3
    Bake for 15 minutes at 250*.
