    vanilla

    splash of water

    cinnamon to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

    loaf of white bread cut into 1 inch slices
  • 2 c
    fresh blueberries
  • ·
    maple syrup

How to Make French Toast with Fresh Blueberries

Step-by-Step

  1. In a shallow dish beat together the eggs, vanilla, splash of water and cinnamon.
  2. In a non-stick skillet or griddle melt butter over moderate heat.
  3. Dip bread slices into egg mixture and transfer to hot skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Transfer french toast to a plate, sprinkle with blueberries and powdered sugar.
  5. Serve with warm maple syrup.
