Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 4 - egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 6 tablespoons whippingcream
- 2 - egg yolks
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 - thick slices bread
- 4 - apples,peeled-halved-cored-cut into wedges
How To Make french toast with custard,caramel and apples

Step 1For Custard scald milk and let sit for 10 minutes.Add vanilla.

Step 2Beat 4 egg yolks and 2 tablespoons of sugar and strain the hot milk over it.Whisking as you put the milk in.

Step 3Return to saucepan and hear on low until lightly thickened.Whisk and pour into a bowl.Cover and Let cool.

Step 4For Carmel Sauce melt 4 tablespoons of butter and 2 1/2 tablespoons of sugar in saucepan untill golden brown.

Step 5Add 3 tablespoons of whipping cream and stir in saucepan with sugar.Keep warm.

Step 6Mix 2 egg yolks,2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, and 3 tablespoons of whipping cream in a bowl.Set aside.

Step 7In fry pan heat 4 tablespoons of butter and apples and cook slightly. Add caramel sauce and finish cooking till tender.

Step 8For French Toast dip into egg yolk;sugar and whipping cream mixture.Fry in butter till golden on both sides.

Step 9Place one piece of bread on plate and spoons on apples then caramel sauce on top then custard dribbled on top of caramel.
