eggnog pancakes

These pancakes are so fun to have Christmas morning or any morning. They are a fun twist to an ole favorite! The first time I made them I kept the "Eggnog" part a secret, later I let the cat out of the bag! They are a hit!

Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup eggnog
- 1 tablespoon oil
How To Make eggnog pancakes

Step 1Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl with a whisk. Then add the egg and milks. Whisk until mixed well and smooth. Add oil last. *If batter seems to thick add a little more eggnog.

Step 2Ladle pancakes on to hot griddle and cook until golden brown. Serve with warm Maple Syrup! (I add a light sprinkle of Nutmeg to my Syrup for an added punch!)

Step 3This recipe is a awesome everyday pancake, just add 1 cup buttermilk, 1 tablespoon sugar and no eggnog. You will never buy boxed again!
