- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup stock (chicken or beef)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons pan drippings (sausage, bacon or ham)
How To Make easy tomato gravy

Step 1Heat tomatoes in iron skillet over medium heat.

Step 2Stir flour into stock and whisk until there are no lumps.

Step 3Stir flour/stock mixture into hot tomatoes, whisking as you stir.

Step 4Bring to a boil and stir until thickened.

Step 5Reduce heat to simmer.

Step 6Stir in salt, pepper and pan drippings.

Step 7Simmer for at least 5-10 minutes.
