- 15 ounces unsweetened applesauce
- 16 ounces canned jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice
How To Make easy cran-apple butter

Step 1In medium saucepan, combine applesauce and cranberry sauce. Cook over medium heat until cranberry sauce melts.

Step 2Add butter or margarine and spices; blend well. Cool slightly.

Step 3Pour into clean jars or non-metal containers; cover with tight-fitting lids. Store in refrigerator up to 3 weeks.

Step 4MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, place cranberry sauce; beat with fork until smooth. Add applesauce; blend well. Microwave on HIGH for 3 to 4 minutes, beating with fork twice during cooking. Add butter or margarine and spices; stir until butter is melted.
