Easy Apple Pancakes
How to Make Easy Apple Pancakes
- Mix dry pancake mix with cinnamon. Add water and mix a few times.
- Cut small, THIN slices of apple (dime-nickel sized) directly into wet pancake batter. (nothing fancy. just use your paring knife and work your way around the apple and let the pieces drop in until you're down to mostly core. You could grate the apple, but I don't prefer it.)
- Mix batter a few more times to distribute the apple pieces.
Cook as you would regular pancakes, about 3 minutes per side. They will be lumpy and not circular, but they'll be delicious.
- Serve with syrup or granulated sugar.
(To make more, increase ingredients while keeping the ratio the same - for each 1 c mix, use 1 apple and 1/2 tsp cinnamon)
