Dutch Babies

Six eggs have never looked to good! We have lots of company and I'd rather be visiting than cooking especially over breakfast.

A friend of mine told me about this, I reduced the butter and it's been a family favorite ever since. It's the best served with fresh berries and fresh whipped cream.

This is quick, easy and looks fantastic! My kids even love it for dinner.

Your guest will "oohh" and "ahh" and you will honestly say "oh it was easy".

How to Make Dutch Babies

  1. Heat oven to 425
Put pats of butter into a 4.5 - 5 quart oblong (metal or glass) pan and dust with nutmeg.
  2. While oven is heating up put eggs in bowl and beat at high speed for one minute. After a minute and while mixer is still going add milk (slightly warmed - just to take chill off) and continue to mix. Gradually add in flour and continue to mix for an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Quickly pour mixture into warm pan in oven (with butter melted) and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Add berries, syrup and powdered sugar
  5. Enjoy!
