crunchy maple fruit & nut granola
I tried a bunch of granola recipes and came up with this combination which is by far my favorite. Other nuts and dried fruit can be substituted but the coconut, pecans and dates just work so well together with the maple I just make this one all the time.

Ingredients
- 4 cups instant 1 minute rolled oats
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup + 4 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chopped dates
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
How To Make crunchy maple fruit & nut granola

Step 1Preheat oven to 250 degrees. In a large bowl mix all ingredients well so all they are all evenly coated. Pour on to a large cookie sheet with sides and bake at 250 for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Step 2This step is important because it insures the granola is evenly toasted and browned. Stir granola every 15 minutes while it is baking for even color. Cool and store in airtight container. Enjoy!
