Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup french vanilla flavored creamer
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 cup coconut, shredded
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 16 slices french bread (cut 3/4 inch thick)
  • - oil for frying

How To Make coconut praline french toast

  • Step 1
    In large bowl combine eggs,milk,French vanilla creamer,and salt,mixing until frothy.On a tray spread Shredded coconut and pecans evenly.Dip slices of French bread in egg mixture until saturated.Roll bread slices on tray to coat with the coconut and pecan mixture.
  • Step 2
    Preheat a skillet with oil on medium high heat. In well greased skillet place coated bread slices, cook until coconut is golden brown.Turn carefully adjust heat to keep coconut from burning.
  • Step 3
    Serve immediately or place slices as there done on a cookie sheet and keep in oven set at lowest temp to keep warm so can serve all at same time. Serve with warmed maple syrup.
  • Step 4
    If you don't have French vanilla creamer substitute one Tablespoon vanilla extract with 1/2 cup milk or Heavy cream.
