If you love coffee cake as I do you'll love this one and cinnamon is my favorite spice. It is from the "Beautiful Dreamer" B&B in Bardstown, Kentucky. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg
    white cake mix
  • 4
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 pkg
    instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1/3 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon

How to Make Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. Grease and flour tube pan.
  2. With electric mixer, combine first five ingredients. Batter will be stiff.
  3. Put 1/2 batter into prepared baking pan and sprinkle with sugar mixture which will be the last 4 ingredients mixed together.Swirl. Repeat with sugar mixture on top.Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes.
  4. Cake gets very brown before down but stays moist & wonderful if covered tightly. I baked this cake approximately 45 to 50 minutes. All ovens are different. When cooled, I wrapped the cake in foil and placed it in my glass cake dish. It also freezes well.
