Ma Burris used to make this yummy coffee cake for us, and it never lasted long. The two glazes make this decadent, and unforgettable! Enjoy!

Ingredients For cinnamon streussel cake

  • 1 pkg
    duncan hines yellow cake mix
  • 2 Tbsp
    oil
  • 1 pkg
    instant vanilla pudding (4 serving size)
  • 1 1/3 c
    water
  • 2
    eggs
  • STREUSSEL:
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • GLAZE:
  • 3/4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    milk
  • CINNAMON GLAZE:
  • 1/2 c
    vanilla frosting
  • 1 tsp
    margarine
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    ground cinnamon

How To Make cinnamon streussel cake

    Oven to 375 degrees. in large bowl, mix cake mix, pudding, oil, water and eggs. Beat 2 min on med speed. Spread 3/4 of the batter in a greased 9x13 pan. Cover with 2/3 of the streussel, remaining batter, then remaining streusel. Bake until toothpick test comes out clean.

    Glaze: Mix sugar and milk and drizzle over cake when cool.

    Cinnamon Glaze: heat ingredients over med heat, stirring constantly. Drizzle over cooled cake.
