Ingredients
- 1 package cinnamon rolls
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 medium gala or honeycrisp apple or ,whatever you have on hand, diced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
How To Make cinnamon & apple coffee cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350º

Step 2In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk, cinnamon and extract. Stir until smooth. Set aside.

Step 3In a small pan over medium heat, combine butter, apples and brown sugar. Cook until sugar starts to caramelize, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.

Step 4Cut cinnamon roll dough into 3 even pieces, then cut those in 3 pieces. Making 9 pieces total per each cinnamon roll. Set icing aside.

Step 5Spray 9 x9 inch pan with Pam. Put the cinnamon roll pieces evenly in the pan. Pour the egg mixture on top. Then put the apple mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll mixture.

Step 6Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes. Mix about 1/4 teaspoon of milk in reserved icing. Drizzle icing over coffee cake.
