2 can(s)14 1/2 oz cans chicken broth
1 cquick cooking grits
2 can(s)ro-tel tomatoes w/green chilis
1 cmedium sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
How to Make Cheese Grits
- Cook bacon and reserve drippings.
Bring drippings, chicken broth and salt to boil.
Stir in grits and tomatoes and return to boil, stirring often.
- Reduce heat and simmer 15 - 20 minutes, stirring often.
Stir in cheese and bacon. Cover and let stand 5 minutes.
Can be put in crock pot on warm to serve.
