cake just meant for coffee
This is the best crumb cake ever. I saw this in a magazine back in 1981. It's been a favorite ever since. I serve it warm with a little butter or cream cheese, and of course, a cup of coffee. Enjoy

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups graham crackers crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup chopped walnuts

Step 1Mix together flour,baking powder,soda and salt. Mix with crumbs; set aside.

Step 2In large bowl cream butter and sugars. Beat in eggs one at a time and vanilla; beat till fluffy.

Step 3And flour mixture to egg mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating just to blend. Stir in walnuts.

Step 4Spread in greased 9- inch square pan. Bake in preheated 350 oven for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
