Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 3 tablespoons mascarpone
- 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
How To Make bruleed oats with lemon mascarpone

Step 1Place the oats in a dry pan and place over medium heat, and toast for about 5 minutes.

Step 2Add the water, applesauce, and salt. Cook another 5 minutes until thickened. Stir in the honey.

Step 3Mix the lemon zest with the mascarpone and stir into the oat mixture.

Step 4Place in two bowls and place 2 Tbsp sugar on the top of each bowl of oats and torch them with a kitchen torch until browned.
