Betty loved to collect recipes from every where. So I am finding them in books in drawers and printed on everything from paper napkins to recipe cards. Here's one found in her letter drawer.

Ingredients For breakfast pizza

  • 1 lb
    bulk pork sausage
  • 1 pkg
    package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 c
    hash brown potatoes, frozen, but thaw them.
  • 1 c
    sharp cheddar cheese
  • 5
    eggs beaten
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    parmesan cheese grated
  • -
    pimento
  • -
    fresh oregano

How To Make breakfast pizza

  • 1
    Cook sausage in a medium skillet until browned; drain. Set aside.

    Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles; place triangles with elongated points toward center in a greased 12 inch pizza pan. Press bottom and sides to form a crust. Seal perforations.

    Spoon sausage over dough; sprinkle with thawed hash brown potatoes and cheddar cheese. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper; pour over sausage mixture. BAKE at 375 for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes. Grarnish with pimentos and fresh oregano.
