- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup milk, 2% or soy
- 1 - egg
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup white chocolate baking chips
- STREUSEL
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter

Step 1HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. GREASE AND FLOUR AN 8X8 INCH BAKING PAN.

Step 2MAKE STREUSEL BY COMBINING BROWN SUGAR AND FLOUR AND THEN CUTTING IN BUTTER UNTIL UNIFORMLY CRUMBLY. SET ASIDE.

Step 3BEAT FLOUR, SUGAR, BAKING POWDER, BUTTER, MILK, AND EGG UNTIL MOISTENED, THEN ONE MINUTE ON MEDIUM SPEED. SPREAD HALF THE BATTER IN THE PAN. (IT IS THICK AND DOES NOT COMPLETELY COVER THE BOTTOM - IT'S OK.)

Step 4SPRINKLE HALF OF THE STREUSEL AND BLUEBERRIES AND 1/4 CUP WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIPS ON TOP OF THE BATTER.

Step 5LAYER ON THE REST OF THE BATTER (THIS IS A CHALLENGE, BUT IMPERFECTION IS STILL OK).

Step 6TOP THIS LAYER WITH THE REST OF THE STREUSEL, BLUEBERRIES AND WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIPS.

Step 7BAKE 45 MINUTES TO 1 HOUR OR UNTIL TOOTHPICK COMES OUT CLEAN.

Step 8COOL 10 MINUTES (IF YOU CAN WAIT THAT LONG) AND CUT INTO SQUARES AND WATCH IT DISAPPEAR!!
