Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 21 oz
    blueberry pie filling
  • 1/4 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice

How to Make Blueberry Breakfast Bars

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream sugar and butter, add eggs and vanilla.
  2. Beat well.
  3. Add flour and baking powder.
  4. Stir until blended.
  5. Spread half of the mixture onto an ungreased 15"x10" pan.
  6. Carefully top with pie filling.
  7. Drop remaining dough on top by teaspoonfuls.
  8. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Do not underbake.
  10. Combine powdered sugar, melted butter and lemon juice and drizzle over warm bars.
