Place 1/2 tablespoon butter in mug and microwave 10 seconds to soften.
Stir in sugar, honey, applesauce and vanilla until well combined.
Add 1/4 cup flour and baking powder, stir until just combined.
Gently fold in berries or cherries.
In a small bowl, combine 1 teaspoon flour and brown sugar.
Cut in 1/2 tablespoon butter until coarse crumbs are formed.
Sprinkle topping onto cake in mug.
Cook in microwave 1 minute 30 seconds.
