  • 1/2 Tbsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 2 tsp
  • 3 Tbsp
    unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    berries or cherries, thawed and drained

  • 1/2 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Berry or Cherry Mug Cake


  1. Place 1/2 tablespoon butter in mug and microwave 10 seconds to soften.
  2. Stir in sugar, honey, applesauce and vanilla until well combined.
  3. Add 1/4 cup flour and baking powder, stir until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in berries or cherries.
  5. In a small bowl, combine 1 teaspoon flour and brown sugar.
  6. Cut in 1/2 tablespoon butter until coarse crumbs are formed.
  7. Sprinkle topping onto cake in mug.
  8. Cook in microwave 1 minute 30 seconds.
  9. Enjoy!
