I love this recipe for Avacado Toast. I made it one morning by searching several different aspects on what makes a good avacado toast and came up with this. It takes you on a mental vacation and makes you feel like you woke up in a Bed and Breakfast. Hence why I named it Bed and Breakfast Avacado Toast.

method No-Cook or Other

Ingredients For bed and breakfast avacado toast

  • 1 slice
daves killer bread good seed bread toasted
  • 1 clove
garlic (peeled and cut in half)
  • 1/2
    ripe avacado (hass are best)
  • 1/2
    lemon
  • high quality olive oil
  • sea salt
  • cracked black pepper
  • tajin or red pepper flakes

How To Make bed and breakfast avacado toast

  • 1
Toast Bread. Rub the cut open garlic clove all over the bread to transfer the umami fragrance to the bread. You won't necessarily know its there but you can tell when it's not. It definitely kicks up your avacado toast and makes people wonder "what's in it that makes it sooo good".
  • 2
Mash the avacaso in a bowl leaving some big chunks. Spread over toast with a fork. Season avacado with sea salt and pepper.
  • 3
Squeeze lemon juice over avacado. (I put half lemon in ingredients but to specify, I don't use all the juice from a whole half lemon. I just squeeze generously over avacado)
  • 4
Sprinkle with Tajin or Red Pepper Flakes (Remember Tajin is Chili powder, lime, and sea salt) so if you use Tajin, use less sea salt. If you use Red Pepper Flakes, use more sea salt.
  • 5
Drizzle with high quality olive oil.
  • 6
Serve with fruit and iced coffee.
  • 7
Be creative! Add an egg on top, or make vegan by using a Toufyan everything bagel half, add sprouts or anything else you can think of! Enjoy!
